After the success of Straight To The Dancefloor, Matt Correa offers us Funky Feeling. A new, even more forceful reference, with a tech-house character, danceable and powerful.

This reference will be available on all platforms in mid-February with an initial period of exclusivity on Traxsource and Spotify. The extended versions can be found on download platforms and the radio editions on streaming platforms.

The 48th release from Guerrilla Records comes after Straight To The Dancefloor, a release that set the bar quite high but not unattainable. Funky Feeling is one of those slow burn productions. A production that was conceived in 2018 as a tech-house song and that has been tested live many times, demonstrating its effectiveness on the dance floor. It was conceived to be part of Matt Correa's live shows under his pseudonym Soul Intentions. In 2023 Matt Correa gave it a twist in his studio, incorporating new sounds and making some variations, achieving an excellent result.

This track has a tech-house character with common elements in Matt Correa's productions. Produced from an Akai Mpc2500, it was initially a very effective drum and bass combo on the track, but eventually the addition of a synth chord that Matt used live made this track a powerful hip breaker with excellent continuity.
A very powerful house beat forms the basis for a funky drum sample that complements and creates that groovy movement that you could play for hours without getting bored. The super deep bassline runs a very engaging sequence that is accompanied by a unison synth line.
